There are no recognizable visual differences between the MacBook (13-inch Late 2007) and MacBook (13-inch Early 2008) models.

To distinguish these models from the previous MacBook model, refer to the shape of the vents on the back of the computer. The Late 2007 model and Early 2008 model have five long horizontal vents on the bottom case under the display clutch cover.

MacBook (13-inch Late 2007) and (13-inch Early 2008):

Conversely, the previous MacBook model had multiple short vertical vents on the bottom case under the display clutch cover.
