Systems without an Internal Hard Drive The SCSI termination block and internal SCSI filter provide proper termination for systems without an internal hard drive. All Macintosh IIfx computers that shipped without internal hard drives have the termination block and SCSI filter attached to the logic board SCSI connector. After you install an internal hard drive, remove the block and connect the filter to the SCSI connector on the drive.
