Drive does not appear on the desktop
Verify there are no duplicate SCSI device addresses. Update the SCSI device driver using Drive Setup. Run Disk First Aid to verify the condition of the drive's directory structure.
Replace the SCSI hard drive cable.
If drive is not initialized, use Drive Setup to initialize.
Replace with known-good hard drive.
If the hard drive still doesn't work, switch back to the original hard drive and replace the logic board.
