MPEG Card

The MPEG Card is an optional card included with the Apple MPEG Media System. The MPEG Card requires that the Video-In Card be installed. It provides hardware decompression for MPEG movie files, enabling full-screen through pixel doubling , 30-frames-per-second, 24-bit video playback with 16-bit audio. After the MPEG movies are compressed, they are sent to the Video-In Card, which converts the data into digital format for output to the screen. Install the MPEG Card in the processor direct slot.
