1. Remove the old battery from the holder.
Note: You can insert a plastic pry tool under the battery to ease the grip between the spring and the holder. Then slide out the battery.
Warning: To avoid risk of explosion, replace battery only with type CR2032.
2. Insert the replacement battery in the holder with the positive side (+) up and the negative side down.
Important: Dispose of the old battery according to the manufacturer's instructions and your local environmental laws.
3. Close the Xserve and return it to the rack.
